WHAT IS IT?
The purpose of this program is to help individuals who are overweight, out-of-shape, or just want to improve their overall fitness. The Fitness Challenge focuses on nutrition, maintaining a regular workout routine, and building and toning muscles to lose body fat.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
In this program you will have lectures with a local doctor and dietician, guidance from a staff of excellent personal trainers, and a before and after evaluation of your fitness level. Each week you will meet with your trainer who will direct you and your group through a workout. You will be given assignments for the remainder of the week to help you reach your personal goals.
WHAT IF I AM A BEGINNER?
No problem! The program is designed for all levels, beginner, intermediate, or advanced. You choose where you are the most comfortable. Even if you are new to the Y or to exercise in general, this is a great way to get started with a healthy exercise program.
ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?
No, we have a broad range of participants, but we do suggest checking with your doctor before starting any exercise program.
